Portsmouth Aikido is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit dojo dedicated to teaching the traditional Japanese martial art of aikido to children and adults. Our practice is based on aiki, the principle of bringing opposing forces into harmony. Instead of meeting violence with reciprocal violence, the aikidoka (practitioner) learns to neutralize and redirect the attack, safely bringing the conflict to a resolution.
